3) Therapy directories such as Psychology Today or Counselling Directory have lists of support of private therapists.
You can choose any type of therapy that feels best for you. However, in my experience, and as the evidence base suggests, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy tends to be best suited to managing intrusive thoughts effectively.
