My mission

After becoming a mum, I have felt a strong urge to use my psychotherapy experience to support women in the perinatal period.

I want to do this because I believe that the role of a mother is hugely undervalued in today's society, leaving women feeling isolated and unsupported. This often contributes towards women believing that they are not doing a good enough job, or there is something wrong with them as a person.

On an individual level, I want to help women to feel empowered in their new role as a mum. I want women to recognise that they are doing a great job and support them to make changes in their life to help them feel confident and content in their new role of a mother.

On a societal level, I want to change people's s perceptions of motherhood. I want the contribution of raising healthy and happy children to be recognised and celebrated!

The most important thing to me is that the mothers who I work with feel supported, understood and gain value from our time working together to help make positive life changes and move forward. Seeing these changes in the clients whom I deeply care about will always be one of my favourite things in the world and I am incredibly fortunate to do this work that I love.
